You just can't expect to go into the world and not have friends, enemies, or even that special someone. Plot with other members here, and expand your friendships with other characters.

Some of the classrooms that house lessons are located here. A great place to be if you're around during lesson hours.

Sub-boards: DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS, HISTORY OF MAGIC, MUGGLE STUDIES

Not much is on the second floor at Hogwarts. If you're lucky, however, you might run into a person or two on that floor, anyway.

Sub-boards: MOANING MYRTLE'S BATHROOM, TRANSFIGURATION

Another floor of the castle with some stuff to do, but not a lot. A few classes, and some fun places to go.

Sub-boards: CHARMS, HOSPITAL WING, TROPHY ROOM

Not a lot to see here, kids. This is a pretty quiet part of the castle. Don't make too much noise.

Sub-boards: LIBRARY, MIRROR OF ERISED ROOM

Besides the one or two rooms that are meaningful, there isn't much to do on this floor... Unless you're a Prefect or Head Boy/Girl.

Sub-board: PREFECT'S BATHROOM

No classrooms to enter, nothing of note to go into... You can mingle with others in the hallway, but don't get caught by the caretaker.

On the highest floor of the castle (not including towers) is where the real action begins. There's a classroom and the Gryffindor common room is also on this floor.

Sub-boards: DIVINATION, GRYFFINDOR COMMON ROOM, ROOM OF REQUIREMENT

A class for all First Years only. Learn how to get up on a broom for the first time, and learn what the magical sport of Quidditch is like. Also, all practices and games are to be held on the Quidditch pitch as well as the Flying lessons.

At the start of every year, the head of Hogwarts stands up and says that the forest is off limits to any student who attempts to enter it. Severe consequences await those who try.

Here is where the groundskeeper of Hogwarts resides. The hut is close to the Forbidden Forest, and their punishments for bad behavior are usually trips in said forest.

One of three in a chain of shops in the wizarding world. It's not a publicly known famous clothier, but it does pretty good business at the Hogsmeade store.

This is an inn and pub with clientele that doesn't want to be recognized due to how shady a place the establishment is.

Basically, it's a candy shop - that makes their own fudge and their own chocolate. And who only sells candy produced in the wizarding world.

It's a tea shop with a love for... Well, love. There's enough pink to make Pepto Bismol jealous. Cherubs throw confetti to the patrons (mainly student couples).

All quills, all the time. It's nothing but a quill and stationery shop, which is probably why there's not a lot of business.

This place was, at one point in time, rumored to be Britain's most haunting building, but that was falsified. This was also the place in which Remus Lupin transformed into a werewolf, and was also the place where Voldemort killed Snape. Yeah, maybe it's a haunting building afterall.

This is the inn that is most frequented by Hogwarts students. Butterbeer is the most popular beverage amongst students, but they also sell adult beverages, amongst other drinks.

The leading supplier of all books needed for education at Hogwarts. It's also the place if you just want to pick up a book about any old magical thing.

The wizarding world has a different type of currency than the muggle world. Here's the place where all of the extra money is.

It's the gateway between what is the muggle world and what is the wizarding world. The inn pub has a less eerie atmosphere than the Hog's Head in Hogsmeade. And it seems to have nicer clientele.

The number one authority for all robes. The staff will tailor robes for witches and wizards of all sizes.

Owls are not the only magical creatures allowed in Hogwarts. This store houses all other creatures that have been allowed at the school.

Any wizard or witch who needs a new wand stops by Ollivanders. They've been the wand specialists for hundreds of years.

Every Hogwarts student has to take the train to school. You get on at King's Cross Station, platform 9 ¾, then hop on the Hogwarts Express.

The government of the wizarding world. To enter, one must enter a beat up red telephone box and, using the phone, dial MAGIC (62442). Once that happens, they are allowed access.
